You may have noticed Google Maps now contains satellite images that seem to have been taken on a sunny day just a few days before the 2005 Roskilde Festival warmup days. You can see them here. 
I've created a large uncompressed png file (156MB) from the Roskilde Festival area and surroundings. A smaller jpeg file (38MB) is also available. Discuss this article on the forums. Every year there is same question from Roskilde first-timers. "what should I bring to Roskilde". And understandably enough we want to help. After all it is always good to be well prepared and what is better than to learn from past mistakes made by more experienced festival goers?
This list is separated in to Need to have's and Nice to have's The need... is what you must bring otherwise your festival will be a bad experience. It is a rather short list but then again you don't really need that much to have a good time. The Nice... is a longer list and is made of things that will enhance the experience and/or make some things easier or more comfortable. It is also a list of things that may be subject to change over the years as technology makes progress and new inventions are brought to market. E.g it used to be "bring a cassette player" but nowadays people bring a cd-player so here goes... (Click "Read more..." to continue.)
